Mucky Paws

June 23, 2008 By: admin Category: Art No Comments →

It’s just premiered in the US and hopefully, paint drenched fingers crossed, it should be making an appearance on this side of the pond sometime soon. Directed by Harry Kim Dirty Hands: The Art & Crimes Of David Choe documents the frenetic Choe as he ‘gets up’ in his unique and resolutely oddball way all over the globe. Can’t wait to see this it looks hilarious.

If you can, get along to Manchester’s Richard Goodall Gallery this Saturday, that’s the 17th, for a one off show/book release/signing from up and coming US-based artists Kathie Olivas, Brandt Peters, Colin Christian and Sas Christian.  They’ll be in attendance so feel free to ask them dumb questions about their work between 12 and 5.

Hot Tee De Paris

20.gifLong time pal, part-time Barista and full time lurker Russ-Wease-Hell has finally got the web portal for his Sketchstance fanzine up and running and amongst the nuggets of wisdom and doodlings on there is a graphic for an upcoming Hot Club De Paris shirt. And while their NME friendly, Cap N Jazz, barbershop stylings aren’t exactly my cup of tea, I can’t deny that firstly, they’re jolly nice chaps and secondly, that their latest fabric offering is truly epic. Oh sod it, I do kind of like a couple of their songs. Go visit them and Russ now.  Niceness 1 - Cynicism 0
